We WILL BE HOSTING a festive farm to table dinner on Saturday Feb. 6th at 5 p.m. The dinner will feature Chef Scott Schwartz of the highly acclaimed 29 South in Fernandina and of downtown’s future (and much buzzed about) new restaurant, the Bullbriar.

All proceeds will go towards TAILS (Teaching Animals & Inmates Life Skills), a partnership between dog rescue group Pit Sisters, the Florida Department of Corrections, and the Jacksonille Sheriff’s Office. TAILS pairs shelter dogs with inmates who spend the next 8 weeks training these formerly “unadoptable” dogs. The dogs get adopted and the risk of recidivism among participating inmates decreases by 15%. Win Win.
